25 US GOATs Group

Hi Everyone, I am about to begin work on volume 2 of 25 US G.O.A.T.s: Profiles in Leadership. I have rough drafts for about 15-20 people. I would love to hear suggestions from you all about some GOATs you think should be included.

Please remember that my basic criteria are: 1. Must be upstanding US citizens. 2. Must be Greatest Of All Times in their field. 3. Must have given back to society in some way - could be financial, but could also be through acts of sacrifice, kindness, justice, charity, arts, knowledge - really anything. Thanks! What are some traits, values, principles, or qualities that you associate with "good character"?

We need great leaders because they shape the direction of families, communities, organizations, and nations. A great leader does more than hold authority — they inspire trust, set an example of character and integrity, and guide others toward a common purpose.
